Jairo Anibal Niño

It was born in Moniquirá, Boyacá, in 1941. It penetrated firstly into the plastic arts and into the painting. He was a member of the group of painters The Spot. Later he was an actor, the director of theatre, puppeteer and playwright. He has been a university teacher and the director of university groups of theatre. His works

El coup d'état, The Bald mount and
Las weddings of the tinsmith or
El dance of the archbishops, have been deserving of several prizes. Between his scripts for cinema are outlined
Efraín Gonzalez, winner in the contest of scripts for plot full-lenght film summoned by Focine, and
El spring of the beasts.
He has written stories for adults as

Toda la vida, set of short statements, and
Puro Populate. Between his works for children they are outlined:
Zoro, winner of the Prize Enka of Infantile Literature in 1977.
